With a an area of 483,260 square miles, Turkey has great geographical diversity.  It boasts snow-capped mountains, a coastline stretching almost 5,208 miles, and seven climatic regions.  It's tallest mountain, Mt. Ararat, reaches 16,853 feet high.

Turkey, with it's long colorful history, is also the home of many ancient ruins and famous landmarks.
